The Iguazu complex is now mainly residential and is very relaxed and has a mixed clientele. It has recently undergone extensive refurbishment, and a centralised, state-of-the-art fire system has been installed with smoke detectors fitted to all rooms. Iguazu consists of three blocks, it has two swimming pools, a pool table and two tennis courts. Our apartment is located in block 1. As it is a private apartment, there is no need to register or go through reception, you simply enter the complex via the garden through a locked gate.

The large open-plan lounge is complimented by a separate sofa (can be used as a bed) in the area that was the balcony, making it exceptionally spacious and light. Here, the windows open onto themselves, concertina style, making the whole end open up, ensuring breakfast at the four seat dining table is an absolute joy.  

For your audio visual needs, there is a new radio/CD stereo which has an integrated docking station for iPod and USB for other MP3 players. There is also free use of the European multi-channel satellite with some English speaking channels on the new 32" LCD TV.  And to finish, there is also a multi-region DVD player, so don't forget to bring your favourite DVD's. Three cooling fans are also available to help with those hot sunny days and nights.

The kitchen is fully equipped along with oven/grill, halogen hob, kettle, toaster, large fridge/freezer and microwave oven. A good range of cooking utensils are also available, although eating out is inexpensive and definitely more fun!

One bedroom has twin beds (both mattresses recently replaced), the other has a new King size bed. Both rooms have summer duvets, choice of pillows and ample wardrobe space. They are also complete with radio alarm clocks for your convenience. Each room has natural light with opening windows.

All windows have shutters that not only provide excellent security, but help reduce heat build up during the day. At night, when down, they allow you to have the windows open for fresh air. Use of the electronic security safe is free for added peace of mind.

The Bathroom has recently been refurbished and is complete with toilet, basin and an excellent power shower. There is also a washing machine, iron and ironing board available to use free of charge. There is also free use of the hairdryer in the bathroom.

If you decide to hire a car during your stay, the apartment comes complete with its' own off street parking place, so you never have to worry about parking fees or finding a parking space.
