Not all of us want to come back with a golden tan, and none of us want to come back as red as a lobster. Use the following guide to help you select the right suntan lotion for you. Suntan lotion is generally cheaper on the Island, but make sure you have at least one bottle with you are they may not have your SPF. And if you decide to go for that all over tan, make sure you use a higher factor on those bits of you that don't normally see the sun!

First, decide what type of person are you:-

Worship the sun - Sunbathe all day, every day and you don't even let a little thing called midday sun spoil your tan.

Like the Sun - You like to sunbathe most days but usually don't like to be out in it all day. You take cover during the hottest parts of the day

Run for Cover - You just don't like lying in the sun all day as you feel it's bad for you. Not bothered if you come back with a tan or not.

Secondly, what skin type are you:-

Leathery - Dark skin, hair and eyes, little or no freckles, Very rarely burn, Tan very easy

Average:- Fair, Brown or black hair, tanned skin,  blue, green or Hazel Eyes, very few freckles, burn sometimes

Pasty:-  Brilliant white skin, blue eyes, fair or red hair, Several freckles, burn easily
